First FO Friday (in Feb!): A post in pics

I had planned a long and chatty post for my first FO Friday contribution of the year. However, I have a zillion things to do today and we're going off on a trip this weekend so I have packing and Leo's packing to do. Loads of stuff. So I'm leaving you with pictures of my gorgeous Live Oak shawlette by the incomparable Romi Hill. I used a very scrumptious merino silk blend and ended up using less than one skein. Deets below!

The oak leaves!

Only modeled shot I have as DH forgot to take pictures

Closeup of the lace on the blocking board

Details:
Yarn: Fyberspates Scrumptious sport, colorway Slate
Dimensions after blocking 17" depth, 52" wingspan
